The 1996 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winning Best Musical!

Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, this rock opera mega-hit follows a year in the lives and relationships of eight friends. Set in the mid-90's, the AIDS epidemic has taken root among these struggling "Bohemian artists" of New York city's East Village. Yes, it will be the same great songs... and yes, it will be the same great story and characters... but our production will not be the "same old RENT". This time we are telling the story... the Elden Street Players' way.

Excalibur

The beloved English legend of King Arthur is brought to life through the tale of the fabled master of Wizardy and Wit, the Magical and Mysterious Merlin the Enchanter! Raised by the noble Knight Sir Ector with his two children, Kaye and Elaine, Arthur has a happy family and is tutored by Merlin who is waiting for the right time for the boy to take his throne. But his evil Aunt, Morgan Le Fay, and her two sidekicks, Dragonfly and Katydidd, would use Arthur so she can rule the kingdom. When a magical sword appears stuck in a stone at the palace courtyard, it is time to test Arthur and see if he is the true King of England! Can Arthur pull the sword from the stone? Can Merlin beat the evil Morgan Le Fay in a duel of magic? Find out in Excalibur! The Story of Young King Arthur.

Director Phillip Archey has been seen on stage, backstage, and in the booth here with Theatre For Young Audiences and is delighted to share his favorite childhood story with you in his first time in the director's chair for TFYA. Having also directed with Taking Flight Theatre Company, he finds a certain joy when a child's face lights up at the story and characters of a TFYA production and hopes that this will be one of many stories he can share with you.

FROZEN

Angry, humane and compassionate, this is an extraordinary play that entwines the lives of a murderer, the mother of one of his victims and his psychologist to explore our capacity for forgiveness, remorse and change after an act that would seem to rule them out entirely.

THRILL ME!
