Christophe, the Miller's son, deprived of his rightful
inheritance, is left nothing but a pet cat - - but Puss proves to be a
valuable property; for through his daring antics, he contrives to have his
master made a Marquis, makes it possible for him to win a Princess for his
bride, and finally disposes of a wicked Enchanter.
