About the Show:
We've all heard the story of Cinderella a thousand times, but we've never heard about Bob, her long lost twin brother! Living in the same kingdom with different wicked stepfamilies, Cinderella's cruel stepmother and evil stepsisters make her rotate tires and polish bowling trophies while Bob's evil stepfather and cruel stepbrothers force him to make dried herb wreaths and organize their sock drawers. When Lou the UPS Guy arrives with invitations from the Kingdom of Wychwood-under-Ooze, Cinderella and Bob are both thrilled but forbidden to attend the festivities. With the help of the Fairy Godmother, the Godfather (he ain't no fairy!), two enchanted gerbils and a lot of luck, they find a way! On the night that Cinderella crashes Princess Petunia's birthday ball, Bob has similar designs on Prince Percy's kingdom-wide baseball game. When the two strangers disappear at midnight after Cinderella hits a game winning homerun, the search is on to find the feet that fit the glass slipper and the muddy cleat! A hilarious send-up of "Cinderella," Twinderella will delight actors and audiences alike with humor for all ages!

| Billy: a boy of 9 or 10 years old; brother of Susie; act as audience for Narrators |
| Susie: a girl of 7 or 8 years old; Billy’s little sister; act as audience for Narrators |
| Cinderella: a modern day version of the fairy tale character; ingenue |
| Stepmother: cruel, selfish; middle aged woman; good comic timing |
| Esmerelda and Ethel: Cinderella’s stepsisters; selfish, “mean girls”; teens |
| Bob: Cinderella’s long-lost twin brother; a modern day leading man |
| Stepfather: Bob’s evil, middle-aged stepfather; good comic timing |
| Eggbert and Mortimer: Bob’s evil stepbrothers; not-too-bright jocks; teens |
| Lou (or Louise) the UPS Guy/Girl: provides commentary and plot development; good comic timing; young M or F |
| Fairy Godmother: (to Cinderella) a ditzy, absent-minded, and well-intentioned older woman. Also could be played b a man in drag. |
| Godfather: (to Bob) a NY mobster; ability to do the wise guy accent and mannerisms; older gentleman |
| Nick: The Godfather’s personal tailor; a NY mobster; middle-aged man |
| Shirley/Lola: enchanted gerbils that pull Cinderella’s carriage |
| Princess Petunia: a modern-day princess who loves baseball; athletic teen F |
| Prince Percy: a modern-day prince who loves to dance; teen M who can dance |
| King Roger: the monarch who is not too bright; under the thumb of the queen; middle-aged man; good comic timing |
| Queen Betty: the real ruler of the kingdom; a nag without being cruel; good comic timing |
| Duke of Earl: the king’s advisor; plays off the Duchess of Earl; any age |
| Duchess of Earl: the lady in waiting to the queen; plays off the Duke; any age |

About the Director:
Jolie Kelly has been directing children’s theatre since 1981. After graduation from Dickinson College, Jolie was the Director of the Children’s Theatre of The Savannah Theatre Company. She directed and taught at Connelly School in Potomac, Maryland and at Armstrong State College and Central Texas College. Currently, she teaches and directs for Fairfax County Public Schools, most recently presenting Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. at Hutchison Elementary School in Herndon. A resident of Oak Hill, Jolie and her husband Pat have four children, including a set of twins.
