A few guests to this website have had trouble printing essential information such as directions to the theatre and ticket reservation information.  This page is not "pretty," but it should allay the yellow text printing problems.

INDIVIDUAL TICKET PRICES

As of September 1, 2004, main stage tickets are $15 for plays, $18 for musicals ($3.00 discount for students and sr. citizens).

  • Sr. Citizen Ticket Discounts - Available to persons age 62 and older.
  • Student Ticket Discounts - Available to anyone of any age who is a full time student at a recognized educational institution, current student identification may be requested as proof of enrollment.
  • Group Discounts - $1 discounts off standard ticket prices are available to groups of 20 or more (must be a single transaction)

SEASON SUBSCRIPTION PRICES

2004-2005 - Regular Subscription $63.00 (Sr. Citizen/Student Subscription $51.00)

  • Season Subscription prices are normally set as tickets to all five main stage shows for the price of three plays and one musical (price of subscriptions may vary, as decided by the Board of Directors).
  • Season Subscriptions are sold during the summer and through the run of the first show.

Open Seating Policy - While we do take ticket reservations, seats are not reserved (except for patrons that require special seating due to physical handicaps, please request special seating when making reservations).

Ticket Reservations - Tickets are considered reserved only if they are prepaid (Season subscriptions; charged to Visa or Mastercard; or prepaid with cash or check)

Box Office Hours - Reservation Phone/Voicemail Line open 24 hours a day, the theatre box office opens one hour before curtain.

Performance Seating - begins 30 minutes prior to curtain.  While there are "no bad seats" in the theatre, occasionally the demands of the scenic design may obstruct some seats from a full view of the action, particularly on the aisle seats of the first two rows.

  • Ticket reservations may be made with a credit card on our voice mail system. 
  • The message will inform you of any sold-out performances. 
  • Please provide in your message the following information:
    • Date of performance you wish to attend,
    • Your Name (please spell it also),
    • Number of Tickets requested,
    • A day and evening phone number,
    • Your credit card number (VISA or MASTERCARD only)
    • The Credit Card expiration date
    • Your Zip Code
    • Please specify if any tickets are for season subscribers, seniors citizens or students. 
    • You will only be contacted if your ticket reservation CANNOT be fulfilled. 
  • No "unpaid" ticket reservations will be accepted as of June, 2000.
  • Tickets are charged to your credit card on the day of the performance

Ticket Cancellations/Refunds - As of June, 2000, refunds will only be issued on cancellations recorded at least 24 hours prior to the performance. 

Release of Unclaimed Seats to the Waiting List - Due to the small seating capacity of The Industrial Strength Theatre, any reserved/paid/subscriber tickets which have not been claimed before curtain time are subject to release without refund.

Waiting List Policy - A waiting list is started each night approximately 1 hour before the performance and is on a first come, first served basis. You must be present to be put on the waiting list, and we do not accept waiting list reservations over the phone.

From the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267), take the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) north  to the first stoplight at Spring Street. Turn left at the light. At the next light, turn right on Spring Street.

Then take an immediate left into the Sunset Business Park. 

Follow signs to the Industrial Strength Theatre located in the far back right corner of the business park (southwest corner).

Then turn left at the end of that short road.  left_in_bus_pk.jpg (76400 bytes)

The Industrial Strength Theatre will be on your left.

ALTERNATE ENTRANCE:
From Herndon Parkway a new entrance to the Sunset Business Park runs along the side of the new Hawthorn Suites Hotel.   The Industrial Strength Theatre faces the rear of the Hawthorn Suites.
