And for the spring, a quirky comedy that sparkles with wit.
Winner of the 2000 Laurence Olivier Award for best comedy, The Memory of
Water is a tender, poignant examination of family and the memories that
shape three sisters with disparate lifestyles returning to their childhood
home for their mother's funeral. The sisters laugh and bicker over
funeral arrangements, their unsatisfactory lives and shared memories.
The unreliability of these memories allow long held resentments to surface
and secrets to come to light - both terribly funny and achingly tragic.
