Ann Colly (Beth) is absolutely delighted to return to Elden Street
Players. She was last seen in ESP's production of Accomplice having
portrayed the role of Harley Davidson/Melinda. Her other stage
credits include Cecile de Volanges in VTC's Les Liaisons Dangereuses
which earned her an ACT nomination, Muriel Tate in Neil Simon's Plaza Suite,
Julie Jenkins/Ms. Gregory in Cedar Lane Stage's production of Museum,
Eleanor Kirby in You Can't Take it With You and Miriam in Steambath.
Special thanks to Tom and Shannon for the best voice mails ever! Mom,
Jenny and Joey, I love you all so much. And to Jamie... I am truly
blessed.
Todd C. Huse (Tom) has been busy this year. He directed ESP's
production of Thumbs this past fall, played the role of Chorus in
Henry V and transitioned from President to Artistic Director of ESP.
In addition to his ESP directing credits, Todd has been on stage at ESP
portraying Tom Joad (Grapes of Wrath), Hamlet (Hamlet), Fr. Rivard
(The Runner Stumbles), Serge (ART) and even a surprise appearance
as himself at the end of Accomplice. This production marks his 49th
role since he started performing as a very tall Mayor of the Munchkins in
seventh grade. Originally from suburban Kansas City (Prairie Village, KS),
Todd received his BA in Theatre from Knox College (Galesburg, IL) and moved to
the DC area in 1988. Since that time he has been on stage in twenty-nine
shows and directed ten. He has earned several theater nominations and
awards for his work. Todd works for SRA International as a systems analyst
and lives in a Herndon zip code. His next, and greatest, production is due
in a couple months when he and Hilary hope to welcome their first child into
their community theater family.
David Sher (Gabe) has been seen on the ESP main stage most recently
playing "Dave" in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare... Abridged,
but ESP audiences should also remember him from The Trestle at Pope Lick
Creek, The Shadow Box, The Tenth Man, Runaways, The
Prime of Miss Jean Brody, The Runner Stumbles, and seven seasons of
Something Different! He also directed ESP's True West and
Henry V. This year marks the end of David's five year journey as
Artistic Director for Elden Street. He would like to thank all of the
people that contributed their talents, money and most importantly, their time
and energy to ESP. We couldn't have done it without you.
Susan Talbott (Karen) is returning for her fourth production with the
Elden Street Players. Her first role at ESP was as Sister Rita in The
Runner Stumbles (opposite Todd Huse' Father Rivard), the accused Jennet in
The Lady's Not For Burning and lastly Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet.
Susan studied theatre at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and at the Oxford
School of Drama in England. When not on stage, Susan is a wife, mother of
two and loves nothing more that cooking for her dearest friends (hmmmm?).
