This is not really a change in our season as much as it is a “change back.” When our 2002-2003 season was originally selected, the 1998 Tony Award winning comedy, ART, was on the list. But attempts to acquire the production rights were denied and expectations for acquiring them were dim. Well, we are happy to announce ART is now available and since many of you have recently told us you would like to see more comedy in our season, we are switching.

If one of your friends were to spend a small fortune on a “white-on-white” painting would you let them know how you really felt about it? Well, for better or worse, three long-time friends are about to take Elden Street audiences on a remarkably wise, witty and intelligent evening of theater to answer that very question. (Oh, and for those of you who wanted to see “Wit”… don’t worry, it is still on our list for future seasons.)

Director: Gloria DuGan
Producer: Nanette Reynolds

Production Dates: June 6 - 28, 2003
